Mary Kate Trevaskis is the Founder and CEO of Tape. Her passion for PR, comms, collecting people and sticking with them started when she got a job working on counter for Benefit Cosmetics - talking and connecting was a job requirement, not easy for a quiet girl from Cornwall.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Identifying the brands which need and want to do things in a creative way, utilising agency insight with an in-house mindset has created a further network of clients, past and present that speak to Tape’s core values. We work across all categories but our passion lies in beauty, wellness, wellbeing, food, hospitality and health; we are building a specialism in Cornish brands across all verticals, because it all comes back to the roots!
Over time, the Tape Agency has gained experience in Talent Management, Podcast Production, Events Production and more. Now, in our ninth year we are refocussing on the core of our expertise - communication - whether that is with media, creators of all sizes, celebrities, creatives, experts and brand fans. We want to communicate with them all.
Cut to 20 years later and MK has created a company which allows her and her team to flex their creative, storytelling and communication skills to every client, member of the media, content creator and passionate partner they come into contact with.
Getting to know people through the medium of cosmetics and the beauty industry in both agency and in-house roles, established a passion for brand-building utilising her far-reaching network to create partnerships + campaigns which stand out.

MK feels incredibly passionate about the industry she has built her career in and tries to always make time for giving back to the the next generation, as well as joining roles that mean she can be inspired and engaged with the best brains in the business.
Current commitments include - CEW mentorship programme, Creative Mentor Network Brighton cohort and on the advisory board for new brand Hyphae.
